The Friends of Shady Lane Cemetery group was founded in 2021 by Louise McDonnell after she visited the cemetery and discovered its deplorable condition. We incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in early 2022 in order to raise money and organize volunteers to maintain the cemetery.

Our Board of Directors consists of the following individuals: Chris Calvey, Jr., Donna Evans (Secretary), Kori Grogan, Jimmy Keeler (Treasurer), Julie Klee, Bill Lester (President), Robin Luchko, Louise McDonnell (Vice President), and Tim Rowland. All of these individuals serve in a volunteer capacity to guide the organization in carrying out its mission to save Shady Lane Cemetery.

Official burial information is incomplete and only extends to 1985, but we are collecting information on the post-1985 burials.
